Made For Newhall Square

madeRO St Bernards (ROSB) has let the first floor of 6-7 Newhall Square, Birmingham, to Midlands Architecture and the Designed Environment (MADE).

MADE is the architecture centre for the West Midlands and was established to raise the standards of architecture, landscape and urban design across Birmingham and the region. It provides design advice to public, private and voluntary organisations and communities.

Funded by Advantage West Midlands, the Arts Council and CABE (the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment), MADE runs training courses, exhibitions and networking events for those working in the built environment.

MADE has taken a six-year lease on 1,970 sq ft/183 sq m at 6-7 Newhall Square. The organisation moves from Fazeley Street, in Digbeth, having outgrown its premises. The organisation employs eight full- and part-time staff and has an expert panel of 40 built environment specialists including architects, artists, engineers, designers and urban designers.
